This year's Electric Daisy Carnival event usually held at the Coliseum in downtown LA will be moved to Las Vegas due to the continued conflict over the safety of the rave, especially after last year when a 15 year old girl died of a drug overdose at the event. I personally am so excited since two of my favorite things--EDC and Vegas--will now be together! June can't come soon enough!

Update 3/2/11: EDC Las Vegas will be held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway which has a 142,000 person capacity--the Coliseum only had a capacity of 75,000 people. Too bad the LVMS is 17 miles north of the Las Vegas Strip. Insomniac better be providing (free) shuttles...
