ATLAS is a group out of San Francisco that started with the idea of bringing together a bunch of awesome musicians to jam and just see what would happen. Influenced by electronic music, they thought as musicians it would be really fun to do their own versions of some of their favorite electronic tunes, arranging it in a way that would both sound cool and emphasize the acoustic nature of live instruments. ATLAS is currently in the studio working on a mashup of Avicii's "Levels" and Justice's "Civilization" as well as preparing original material for their debut album sometime in the Spring/Summer of 2012.
