"We Used to Wait" - Arcade Fire

Check out this interactive video experiment from the Arcade Fire and Chris Milk.
"Choreographed windows, interactive flocking, custom rendered maps, real-time compositing, procedural drawing, 3D canvas rendering… this Chrome Experiment has them all. “The Wilderness Downtown” is an interactive interpretation of Arcade Fire’s song “We Used To Wait” and was built entirely with the latest open web technologies, including HTML5 video, audio, and canvas."
It's very cool and I'm not just saying that because I love maps :) All you do is just type in the address of your childhood home--you can really use any address, but it's best to use one from where you have lived so you will be visually familiar with it and its surroundings--then it creates a custom music video incorporating Google Earth satellite images of your address with different segments of the video popping up all over your screen. It's best to use Google Chrome as your browser when viewing. Have fun and enjoy: http://www.thewildernessdowntown.com/
